On November 7, 2025, Danubius International University, through the School of International Governance & Law, participated as an institutional partner in the international conference Bridging Research and Society: Reflections on Human Rights and Civil Society Engagement, the final event of the HRJust-Intersect Observatory. Organized online, this scientific forum brought together prestigious academic and research institutions — the Institute of International Relations Prague, the World Trade Institute of the University of Bern, the University of Gothenburg, the Swedish Network for European Legal Studies (SNELS), Danubius International University, and Adjuris International Academic Publisher — in a joint effort to foster dialogue between academia and civil society, with a special focus on human rights and civic engagement.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cristina Elena Popa Tache, Dean of the School of International Governance & Law, delivered a presentation entitled Research Centers as Engines of Transdisciplinary and Social Transformation. Perspectives from CIRET, COST, and Adjuris. Her intervention emphasized the fundamental role of research centers in facilitating interdisciplinary collaboration and generating applied knowledge aimed at addressing the needs of contemporary society.
