The Department for Teacher Training (DPPD) organized the fourth edition of the International Conference "Education in the Digital Era." The event was held in a hybrid format and brought together academics, researchers, and education specialists from Italy, the Republic of Moldova, Bulgaria, Albania, and Ukraine, alongside partner institutions from Romania, including the Galați County School Inspectorate, the County Center for Educational Resources and Assistance, and the “Education Is Power” Association. This international academic platform facilitated valuable opportunities for the exchange of best practices and research findings related to emerging pedagogical approaches in the context of digital transformations in education systems.
The main objective of the conference was to promote innovative strategies in teaching, learning, and assessment, tailored to the current challenges brought by digitalization. Through scientific sessions and interactive workshops, participants explored viable solutions for the integration of technology into education, thus supporting the development of digital competencies among teachers and students. All accepted papers will be published in the journal Didactica Danubiensis (ISSN 2821-4374), which is indexed in the international EBSCO – BDI database, ensuring global visibility of the scientific contributions.
