International Academic Opportunity: ISV Summer School in Italy – Inclusion and Sustainability in Vulnerability, with Full Funding for Selected Participants

The Danubius International University is pleased to support the promotion of an outstanding academic opportunity: participation in the International Summer School on “Inclusion and Sustainability in Vulnerability (ISV): A Transdisciplinary Approach”, which will take place between 15–21 September 2025, in Norcia (Perugia), Italy.

This program is organized within the framework of the European project HRJust – Intersecting Human Rights, Inclusion and Sustainability, in collaboration with distinguished international partners. Participation is entirely free of charge – all travel, accommodation, and meal expenses will be fully covered by the organizers for all selected candidates.

About the Program

The ISV Summer School aims to provide a space for academic reflection and interdisciplinary exchange on the themes of social vulnerability, inclusion, and sustainability. The program adopts a transdisciplinary approach, combining legal, social, political, economic, and humanistic perspectives. It is designed for young professionals and recent graduates who aspire to contribute actively to the development of a more equitable and inclusive society.

Over the course of an intensive one-week program, participants will have the opportunity to:

  • Attend lectures and interactive workshops delivered by international scholars and practitioners;
  • Acquire cross-cutting competencies related to human rights, inclusion policies, and sustainable development.

Eligibility Criteria

The program is open to all young individuals holding a Bachelor's degree, regardless of their field of study. Graduates of Danubius International University – from all faculties – are strongly encouraged to apply, especially those interested in engaging with socially impactful international projects.

Only 20 participants will be selected at the European level, making this a highly competitive and prestigious opportunity.
